Introduction
This is my Instagram account for my art and hobbies outside of the regular 3D, graphic, & architectural design that I do for both work and study. A lot of the content here is unusual, unprofessional, and raw. Whilst this is the case, I think it's important to showcase my efforts on a more casual page, being this section of my portfolio and Instagram. :)

Videography & Content Creation
As well as 3D art, I'm passionate in videography, recording my friends, family, and general environment brings me great joy. 'Fins Board Sesh' is a documentation of one of my favorite activities, Rock climbing. Board sessions with my friends are an important date and meeting. Days like this are rare and the memories being captured on video are unique and important. It shares a similar character to my other design work: raw and unfiltered.
3D Models, Graphics & History
I've always been interested in 3D destruction and graphics; action movies, Marvel, and aging into the Call of Duty's and more realistic gaming at the time had me trying to replicate shots, reload animations, and scenes from the newest trailers and games in Blender.
Other times it would be a competition between my peer's in school to see who could create the most bizzare video in the quickest time in design (or truthfully, History and languages classes...
Filling the Page
Most creatives probably start with a musical instrument or pen/ pencil depending on what youre good at. I started with pens and lots of them. My dad being an architect I would have a whole range of pens, markers, rulers always available in excess. A3 booklets on long car drives would be full to the brim with him expressing,
never move onto the next page unless you've filled the last.
This always stuck with me and made me rethink how I treat art and design. Should this always be the case? obviously not but it does make for some visually striking and compelling imagery; both with drawing and 3D compositing I think everyone can learn something about 'filling the whole page'.

Whilst being incredibly old at this point, this 3D work is some of my favorite to date.
Quick animations of crazy stuff is always a fun way to unwind and have fun. With old tools and technology I had little in terms of experience and computing power, so I had to make smart decisions, animations that are too long take a while to render, and ones that are too short don't convey what you want; detail within a scene and where you want the viewer to put their eyes, what you want them to hear and feel...
Honestly I'd be lying if I said that I thought of this every time I make every little cartoon; that's like a painter overthinking every pencil sketch and whiteboard drawing they've ever done.
A lot of the time it's not worth it, I guess people should embrace the fact that it simply looks silly and cool.
Getting Older
A lot of the animation as this page continues down is now pretty old stuff that I did in high school and in some cases middle school. This animation was a favorite, and I've always loved incorporating 3D and 2D (2D renders A LOT quicker!!).
Older Older stuff/Gallery
Experimental, wishy washy stuff. Some old some new. Mostly old... very old....
